I've been wanting to do this for so long...to switch from Greek to English for once on my blog and make it absolutely bi-lingual...well here it is! I finally decided to take the plunge and do it! And am I going to do it with utter originality? Well, hummm, no, not really! I'll follow on from my friend and blogger's 7 Things list...and do the same:

Seven Things that Scare Me:
* nightmares
* making a meal that is utterly unedible, and having invited my mother-in-law for dinner that evening!
* the grumbling sound before an earthquake
* horror films
* slithery snakes, reptiles, carnivorous fish and spiders
* edges of cliffs, tall buildings, etc...absolute acrophobia!
* a mother's greatest fear...I can't even utter it!

Seven Things I Like:
* Burger and Fries (the big big serving with the mound of fries)
* Chips and Cheese at the Reading University JCR
* Walks along the Thames in Henley-Upon-Thames
* Hugging my little some-one!
* Shopping!!!
* Going out for Sunday lunch
* Driving an SUV

Seven Random Facts About Me:
* I always seem to run out of clothes! I'm always buying them, but I always seem to have less than my husband and my son.
* The only doctors I've ever been to are my dentist, OBGYN and dermatologist.
* I won an award when I was in primary school for having organised and kept up the school library.
* I play tennis and love swimming...I just never get the chance to do either of them!
* I've been writing short stories and novels ever since I can remember, but don't ever seem to get passed the first few pages.
* I've always wanted an Orla Kiely bag (the one with the cups or the cars), but I've never managed to get myself one.
* I loved Jeffrey Eugenides' Middlesex, Patricia Cornwell's novels and Tracey Chevalier (although I've veared away from her last two novels).

Seven Things I want to Do Before I Die:
* Go to New York City, walk in Central Park to "that" fountain and eat a deli sandwich and a hot dog with sauerkraut!
* Visit my son when he's studying at university and go out for dinner with him and his friends/girlfriend.
* Buy an Oscar de la Renta "sixties" skirt.
* See my mother remarried or in a fantastic relationship with a man I approve!
* Make someone immensely happy!
* Leave my mark on the world...am I going too far here?
* Eat entrecote cafe de paris in Geneva again...

Seven Things I Can Do Well:
* Make banana muffins and pasta flora
* Read stories aloud
* drive...I love driving...I adore driving...I'm seriously a good driver...
* dress my son "cool"
* listen...
* pick a good book...or a good film...or a good tv series
* make coffee

Seven Things I Can't Do But Wish I Could
* Cook traditional Greek dishes and make them taste "Greek"
* Give excellent advice
* Stand up for myself and support what I believe in.
* Give myself a perfect makeover...I can't do those smoky eyes without making them look like eye smudges!
* Pretend that I am happy when I am upset...
* lose weight when I have to...
* concentrate on work when the weather out is sunny and I could be in the playground!

That's it for now...I'll be blogging back in my original style very soon!
